To turn off the beep:

1. Open the Device Manager.
2. Select View -> Show Hidden Devices, and disable "Beep" under "Non-Plug and Play Drivers".

Change of storage spaces

• Windows temporary directories and user profiles
  
  • Change temporary directories to "D:\TEMp" through environment variable setting.
  • Change %USERPROFILE% directory to "G:\kks" (see MS KB Q214470).
  • Create a new environment variable: HOME="G:\kks\My Documents"

  When restoring, don't forget to move the backup copy of "profile.ini"
